She is Supriya from Kerala, she has been working as a saleswoman with the Alukkas group for the past 3 years. She is married with 2 children and her husband has a small-time job in a private company..
Last week, a video of a random act of kindness went viral which brought a smile to everybody’s faces. In it, a kind woman was seen helping a visually-impaired man catch a public bus, urging the conductor to wait for him.
When the chairman of company Joy Alukkas stumbled upon the video and identified her as the company’s employee, he visited her rented home with his family to congratulate her. He also asked her to visit the Thrissur head office the following week for a surprise,
which would turn out to be something that she had never imagined.

During a meeting, Alukkas announced a brand new home to be gifted to her. Supriya recalls the moment saying, “I never thought it will be such a huge surprise.
I was in tears as hundreds of workers of the group cheered me. It was a spontaneous act and I never thought this will fetch me so much of praise and love.”

This entire incident reminds of Sophocles’ phrase “Kindness begets kindness evermore."
