Let me just add one thing to this...

I first became aware of “Men’s rights” groups when I was divorcing. Significant custody was important to me. I was doing my research. I found groups dedicated ostensibly to “father’s rights” and “men’s rights”.
The “men’s rights” ones weren’t about supporting rational men in pursuit of rational, fair rights.

They were havens for angry, vengeful, misogynistic men with axes to grind.

Men who bore angry grudges feeding others who were much the same.

Nurtured grievance.
My divorce was settled relatively amicably. There was no custody dispute. There was no litigation. We worked out our own settlement and were in court for a grand total of 20 minutes to make it official.

The brush with men’s rights groups stuck with me though.
There are a lot of very angry men out there silently nursing grudges and grievances in communities that turn them from a simmer to a boil.

This Den Hollander guy was just one of an unsmall number of men tick-tick-ticking until he exploded.

These groups are dangerous.
