Scene in the park across from Federal Courthouse. So. Much. Food. First aid and other supplies too.
No fence in front of the courthouse tonight either. Lots of people wandering around looking at the graffiti.
Moms (and some dads) gathering at Salmon Street Springs for the nightly march to join protesters at the Justice Center.
Crowd growing.
Linking arms and on the move.
"No justice, no peace. Take it to the streets and fu** the police."
Moms forming their wall in front of Justice Center as crowd chants "Black lives matter."
"Wake up, wake up, wake up motherfu**ers, wake up."

Also, see the person trying their darndest to attach a flag to the pillar in front of JC.
Another huge crowd tonight. Filling 3rd from Salmon to Madison (2 blocks). Plus lots of folks in the parks. Cellphone flashlights up.
"Feds go home!"

I'd say this crowd is about as big as the one we saw last night. 1,000-1,500 is my best guess.
Dance party.
There was a conflict between a man in a white shirt and hat and the crowd. The whole thing lasted about 10 minutes, but i had to cut it down for twitter. Moms ended up squeezing in between demonstrators and man. He eventually walked away.
Meanwhile at the Fed Courthouse...
"Come on out and face the people!"
Blocking the doors.
Feds came out.
Tear gas and other crowd control munitions.
Part of crowd appeared to be marching away on 4th.
Currently ducking behind cars to avoid getting hit by pepper balls.
Joyous drumming as it appears feds have retreated. Lots of CS gas in air though.
JK. They're still over by 3rd and Madison.
Crowd sings, "Hey heyyyy. Goodbye" as feds go into IRS building.
Crowd smaller after round 1 of teargas, but still in the high hundreds (if not more).
The elk (balloon) has returned and is prancing in front of fed courthouse.
"Portland you scared?"
"No!"
Moms backed up to 3rd and Madison. Then a firework went off near IRS building.
Something burning in front of courthouse.
Feds out for second time.
We've been running around all over the place so tweeting has been hard. Livestream has been up. Here's my latest cell vid, featuring one person throwing a big firework at the feds.
Crowd at Salmon and 4th. Fed appears to have pulled back. These pushes by officers don't seem to be doing much to decrease crowd size. People seem to be building up a tolerance to the tear gas.
People returned to fed courthouse, threw some bottles etc. and pushed fence against doors. Officers fired pepper balls through the little window flaps.
Group rushed forward. Looked to me like they were tring to block window flaps. Then some started worrying aloud that feds would come out a side door. So they took a chunk of fence around side of building. Feds have not come out again at this point.
Unsettling warning on front of Justice Center:
