Random list of things I *think* that I think:

(1). You shouldn't go bankrupt because you get cancer.

(2). We don't take good enough care of small businesses in America.

(3). Familial fracture is extremely problematic.
(4). Great CEOs are invaluable and many deserve absurd salaries, but 300x the average worker comp feels like too much.

(5). You have to do the hard work to heal trauma; neglecting or repressing it is a recipe for disaster.
(6). We're well on our way to being the first country in history to be socially destroyed by our own media apparatus.

(7). If you want to understand why someone is doing something, examine the incentives.

(8). All three of the roles in Karpman's drama triangle are toxic.
(9). Social media is probably a net-negative at this point; it's made us more tribal and facilitates endless comparison.

(10). There are no easy answers, but we must figure out how to improve education, healthcare, and our justice system.
(11). Investment in our infrastructure feels like a reasonable way to stimulate job creation/growth.

(12). You should get to know your neighbors and, one day, after covid-19 subsides, we should bring back block parties.

(13). Open Offices are hellscapes (even before covid).
(14). Seed oils are worse than sugar.

(15). Meat is health food.

(16). The pay gap is (mostly) a result of personal choices.

(17). You should have friends that think differently than you. You should have more conversations with those friends.
