Tips from a former cop (me) on dealing w/ pepper spray, that I learned getting sprayed in training:

Rub a thin layer of Vaseline around your eyes, including eye lids, and around your nostrils, mouth, and lips.

“No more tears” baby shampoo for face washing after getting sprayed.

…To be clear; Vaseline BEFORE getting sprayed (as in, before going to a protest).

Bring extra to reapply if you sweat it off. Just like sunblock.

Bring baby shampoo too. Just wet your face w/ water, scrub, rinse. Right on the scene.

Even 280 characters isn’t enough sometimes.
