Thirty three years ago, two foolish kids decided on a whim to elope and get married. They really had no business doing so. They had no money and even less life experience. But they were in love. He was 22 and she was just 19.

Neither family approved of the union. Both mothers were convinced that this was a mistake that would end in pain. But these kids knew better. They had each other, and that would be enough.

Less than a year later, they lived in a tiny one bedroom apartment and she was already expecting their first child. They were nervous and scared, but mostly excited at the thought of being parents. Their first child arrived in June of 1988. A boy named Matthew

Life with a baby was challenging. Some weeks, she had a total of $20 to buy food once the bills had been paid. But somehow they made it work and they were ridiculously happy. In fact, they were SO happy that....

Another boy arrived just 2 years later. Another boy, Christopher. Christopher was born with a gleam in his eye and an energy level that couldn’t be measured in human terms. And they found that they were even happier.

After Christopher, they decided to take a little break. And they made it almost 2 and a half years before their very first princess arrived on the scene. Kaitlin Rose immediately stoke her father’s heart and never gave it back.

At this point everyone told the young couple that their family was ‘complete’ and that they could ‘finally stop’. But little did anyone know that the young couple was just getting started. And so it was that only 17 months later there was another miracle. They named him Michael

Life continued to be wonderful and the couple loved each other and their children very much. But they still weren’t complete. So Sean joined the clan with his dry humor and his infectious smile.

Now the couple started to get questions and concerns from family, friends, and even complete strangers.

This saddened the couple because they found only join in their wild and chaotic family. So they went on.
Meet Danny.

And so it was that the couple had quite a collection of wild, adorable boys and only one, very spoiled little princess. So, she prayed for a sister. And her prayer was finally answered...

Rebecca joined the family much to her older sister’s delight and also stole her father’s heart. She was born exactly 2 years after her brother and now shares his birthday

But Katie had prayed for sisters and God heard that prayer. So, Maggie was not far behind.

Even still, the couple was not quite done. The wife always felt that there was still one more little boy who needed to be loved. So she prayed and god heard her and gave them Timmy.

At last it seemed that the family was complete. But that wasn’t true. Before long a son in law and two daughters in law came along.

And now a whole new adventure was about to begin as new babies started to arrive and the not-so-young-anymore couple found themselves grandparents

All of this happened because a young man and a beautiful young woman fell in love and started a family when everyone else told them that they shouldn’t

If I could turn back time, and do it all again, I’d marry you even sooner so that we could spend even more time together.
