However if you did or do, please read the threads that are written in relationship to this page. One of the things I always have said is that unfortunately patriarchy in Central America has also infiltrated our Indigenous communities.
I say this as someone who was raised by a matriarchal society (Zapotec) and a non-matriarchal society (Maya Ch’orti’). Dynamics against our women & LGBTQ2S+ relatives is very distinct & different.
However, this page wasn’t run by an Indigenous person. It’s just sad seeing how cis-gender men in patriarchal societies continue to be the ones given a platform & large following.
