Reminder - each year US collegiate “video game design” programs graduate approximately 10x more students than there are entry level positions at every studio in every discipline in North America.

I’m a graduate of one of those programs, and I realize that there is lots you can do with those degrees.
But I also know how kids are sold on a risky dream that can come with crippling debt.

My advice? Get a double major at a good but affordable school in related, but opposite fields (art + psych / writing + code discipline), all while working on as many mods and mos teams as possible.
