The series has been highly praised by indy SF writers. It's great to get a thumbs up from my peers, who aren't being paid to write a blurb and aren't affiliated with the Pink Slime Lit-SF crowd. Here are some links to reviews of the first book.

The series has gotten positive tweets from @robkroese, @lorettatheprole, @realpaullucas, and others. @RDPaolinelli added me to his Superversive Authors list, and Book 1 was nominated for the second Ribbit Awards.
I've read and enjoyed books by most of these authors. A couple of them are up there with the all-time SF greats. When I was a kid I used to fantasize about being involved with a "movement" like Campbell's Astounding in the 40's.
I never thought it would happen, let alone in such an unexpected way, spearheaded by indy authors doing an end-run around the corrupt Lit-SF establishment. I'm lucky to be here at this moment in history and to have made my small contribution.
I should mention one more author who is no longer active. When I was a kid in the early 80's, I came across a lesser-known fantasy series that haunted my imagination for years and provided the blueprint for the plot structure of YANKEE REPUBLIC.

I reimagined the Ferrabrinth as a race of electromagnetic life forms, and the undead sorcerer-king Shubeyash as Walt Disney. I'm not as talented as Geraldine Harris and I wasn't able to equal the majesty of THE SEVEN CITADELS...
but I was able to write a fun, inventive, consistently entertaining series that occasionally achieves real literary quality. Thanks to everyone who bought and reviewed the series and encouraged me to keep writing.
