Let’s be very clear. Teachers care so much about the kids that we are willing to sacrifice time with our own families to plan for them.

Teachers care so much about kids that they are willing to spend money they don’t have on school supplies and classroom decor. 2/9
Teachers care so much about kids that they will spend hours upon hours analyzing data and finding better ways to teach. 3/9
Teachers care so much about kids that they will literally stand between them and a bullet if it came down to it. 4/9
Teachers care so much about kids that they are constantly checking to make sure they are safe and healthy and loved. And if they aren’t, teachers step in and either provide or call for help. 5/9

Teachers care so much about kids that we attend multiple meetings to ensure that each student is getting the education they need. 7/9
Teachers care so much about kids that they come to work early and stay late even when they are not getting paid so the room is clean and ready for the next day. 8/9
