We live in a time of extreme views. People take radical action based on these views. We've literally had an armed gunman drive through gates to confront our PM cause of his beliefs in conspiracies.

Social media companies have a responsibility to shut down hate speech and the spread of misinformation that fuels this kind of radical action, racism, and intolerance. So, too, does the MSM have a role.

They cannot simply allow politicians to fuel these conspiracies and let them go unchecked. They cannot themselves produce gotcha journalism that, even when disproven, is used by those on the extremes to justify their anger.
And for heaven sakes don't televise "experts" that are known to engage in conspiracy theories.
