(1) I’ve been married to my wife for 10 years today. A decade. It doesn’t feel like a decade. It’s insane when I truly reflect on it. Thinking of all the things that have happened since 2010. We’ve been through a lot in that span of time.

(2) Like from apartments with friends (bad choice), to living at my Mom’s to get finances straight, back to apartments, to our house which is a good little house but has some flaws (namely space and perhaps a nosy nelly neighbor). Yeah, a new house soon will be in order for sure.
(3) we’ve gone through 6 cars. When we first met we both had Chevy Cavalier’s...mine got wrecked and hers had mechanical problems. I got a Buick Century, she got a Buick Rendezvous. Didn’t stay long either. Kia Soul for me and a Kia Sorento for her. Now down to a 2020 Kia Soul.
(4) There were low times...financial troubles, stress, communication problems, career changes, but we muddled through it all. The toughest and toughest was 4 years of wondering if kids would be in the mix. Long months of testing, appointments, failed pregnancy tests & more stress
(5) But now...we have a happy healthy baby, 4 dogs, 3 cats, a crammed little house that maybe soon we’ll sell and get something more forever-y.
And through all that, it feels like we’re just getting started. Cheers to that
