i can't find it but there was a how to do it article in slate by rich juzwiak the other day that seemed fake to me
the letter was by this 50 yo guy who transformed himself into a corporate super daddy complaining about how he was getting flirted with all the time
it just seemed so weird and unconvincing, like no way that's a real person writing that, plus shifts in tone, etc. at the very least it has some lies in it.
it's stuck in my head for some reason though, partially because of the very detailed list of things you have to do in order to be successful in corporate america
basically they boil down to: be a dick, but make sure you convince people you aren't really a dick.
