Yo, I get it -- I grew up here. I know the Glen Taylor "situation".
But one thing has been VERY true over the past 15 months: Glen has been letting Gersson Rosas do his thing.
For some context on Glen's staying out the way, I wrote this deadline night https://zonecoverage.com/2020/timberwolves/with-dangelo-russell-glen-taylor-is-letting-gersson-rosas-do-his-thing/

Once all the financial fell in place after the Timberwolves many deadline deals -- including Covington to HOU and Wiggins to GSW -- it was striking to me that Taylor signed off on paying the luxury tax while Houston and Golden State, in part, used the deadline to duck the tax.
The Timberwolves are one of four teams who will pay the luxury tax this season -- and Glen Taylor signed off on that so that Gersson Rosas and the Timberwolves front office could do their thing.
That matters.
That matters.
Additionally striking to me in Glen Taylor approving the D'Angelo Russell trade was the fact that it was a public indictment of the logic -- Taylor's own logic -- that went into signing Andrew Wiggins to his max contract in the first place.
Looked him in the eyes, etc, etc...

My point here is not that I think KG becoming would be a bad thing.
My point is that if KG lets Rosas do his thing -- WHILE FRICKING KG OWNS THE TEAM -- then we have a *great* thing.
I just trust Rosas to make decisions more than I trust any billionaire.
