I just want to note that if you listen long and hard enough to some of these people who really really hate BvS you start to realize that what they actually hate is the progressive ideals beneath the surface of this film.
They hate that Batman is portrayed as a villain. Which is a reversal of the Miller comic, with Batman as conservative rebel hero fighting Superman as an avatar of government control or overreach.
They hate that in order to understand the movie they have to listen to what women are saying and doing, that they have to interest themselves in these female characters and their motives.
They hate that Superman is treated as an allegory for the outsider experience, & specifically the immigrant experience, & they struggle to empathize with him from this perspective.
They hate that Lex Luthor is an angry white man who is portrayed as aggressively deviant & pathetic in his hatred of the other and his misogyny.
They hate that Snyder is unapologetic about the completely unethical parts of being Batman, they hate that he uses Superman to acknowledge how hard it is to do the right thing, they even hate what room was afforded to Lois Lane as both a powerful character & romantic interest.
