I've talked about this before, but podcast/radio producing in the age of COVID is much harder. Producers all over the world have become de facto tech support for guests and hosts as they patiently learn how to record themselves at home.

We have to troubleshoot recording equipment, wireless headphones, computers, tablets, faulty apps. It's a mess.

Then, when it gets time to edit, it takes easily 2 to 3 times longer than in studio: we have to cut out barking dogs, water glasses, fans, kids.... CHEESE WRAPPERS

And call us Glade cause we're ALL ABOUT PLUGINS.

De-verb! De-clip! De-noise! De-click! Equalizers! Compression!

All this work goes into producing the same show you heard before COVID. We aren't really doing *more* podcasts, we're just working much harder to bring you the show you're used to hearing.

Are we complaining about that? Nah. This job is the best and I love doing it.
