#ADHD brains tend to have low self esteem and get discouraged easily — so we need LOTS of immediate, positive feedback.

This often leads to people pleasing and even codependent relationships.

Learning to self-validate is apparently a thing.

I’m skeptical but let’s try it 😜
I started a random Instagram account purely as an exercise in self-validation. I’m gonna post selfies and pics of my life and hobbies and then validate them by sharing what I value about them (and me).

What are your favorite exercises in self-validation?
Full disclaimer I am SUPER new to this concept but from my understanding it’s important that it’s *specific* and *something we actually believe is true.* Saying “I’m great at housekeeping,” if we’re not, can backfire. Instead, “I cleaned the toilets today and they look great!”
