This information was given to me by another nurse who asked that I make it public. It's a lengthy handout and waiver given to patients being treated for Covid-19. Remdesivir can be hepatotoxic and the benefits do not outweigh the risks in my professional opinion. HCQ is a much
safer choice with less risk for permanent damage from side effects. Once liver function takes a hit, it is typically chronic and progressive. If the liver fails, short of a transplant, the outcome will not be good.
Transient hypotension is another potential, undesirable side effect. It affects the cardiovascular system which was a central argument for opposing HCQ.
Information on the monitoring of labs with regard to liver function.
This page lays out the fact that Remdesivir is not approved by the FDA in spite of the Emergency Use Authorization of the drug, another argument that opponents of HCQ repeated ad nauseam to discourage it's use.

It also clearly states that the Coronavirus originated in Wuhan.
Remdesivir is an investigational antiviral medicine. In contrast, HCQ has been around for decades and is a successful treatment for those suffering from autoimmune diseases such as lupus, and viral infections such as malaria. Tried and true vs. unproven and new.
"Not a lot of people have taken Remdesivir. Serious and unexpected side effects may occur."

Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands have taken HCQ.
No one I have administered HCQ to has had to sign a waiver to participate in it's use. Sharing patient information with entities like the FDA is a red flag for me with regard to tracking and tracing. Medical information in these cases is no longer protected by HIPPA.
Finally, I ask that you all inform yourselves and loved ones, continue to question everything, including medical treatment and practices, and share this information so that others may make informed decisions as well. Thanks in advance.
