#13 Thibaut Courtois, 9/10.
At one point in the season I thought his Real Madrid career was over. Boy was I wrong. An unbelievable season and won us a lot of points.

#2 Dani Carvajal, 8/10.
Started of the season slowly but grew and got better and better. One of our best players after the break and instrumental to our La Liga victory.

#3 Eder Militao, 6/10.
Came in as a 3rd option behind Ramos and Varane and has fulfilled his role well. He’s had 1 bad game but he didn’t play in his natural position, nevertheless a solid season for a backup.

#4 Sergio Ramos, 9/10.
Captain, leader and legend. At 34 still going strong and had an incredible season. Hardly any bad games from him and he guided us to our 34th league title.

#5 Raphaël Varane, 9/10.
In my opinion, our best and most consistent defender of the season. I can’t remember him having 1 bad game.

#6 Nacho Fernández, 5/10.
Didn’t contribute as much as he’s used to but did his job and didn’t let us down. In fact he got the winner against Valladolid and won us an important game.

#12 Marcelo Vieira, 6/10.
We always knew Marcelo was on the decline and it showed last season. Apart from his heroics in the Clasico, a very average season.

Came in from France as the best LB in Ligue 1. He cemented his place in our XI and I’ve been very impressed with his performances and I can only see him getting better and better.

Maestro. Alongside Casemiro been our best and most consistent player of the season. He’s been a joy to watch and he’s shown how important he is to us.

Who would’ve thought at 34 years of age that he could put in world class performances. After lockdown he’s been our best player. Incredible player.

Flawless. My player of the season. Very consistent throughout the season and has been our best and most important player this season.

For me he’s been our most improved player this season. Last season we saw glimpses of what he can do but this season he played and delivered more consistently.

#16 James Rodriguez, 4/10.
I was very happy that he stayed this summer and thought he’d contribute a lot more than he did. I now understand why Zidane doesn’t fancy him. I think a move away for him is better for the club and himself.

It’s a strange one with Isco. Usually against the big teams he plays well but against the lesser teams he doesn’t seem to flourish as much. Very inconsistent season.

Came in as a superstar signing this summer and injuries have stopped him this season. Before his injury against PSG he was playing very well but it seems he hasn’t gotten over his ankle injury yet. Next season is big. Eden’s got this.

My striker. Our highest scorer and assister. Incredible important to our La Liga win. One of the best players this season and I hope he continues this form to next season.

Average season, didn’t do anything spectacular but didn’t put a foot wrong. He does his job and that’s all we can ask for. Doesn’t complain about anything. True Madridista.

What can I say? This guy is surely one of the most unlucky players in recent history for us. I’ve got no doubts that he’ll come good for us but things have to improve.

After a slow start to the season he picked up where he left off last season. Another great season from Vinicius and I’ve got high hopes for him.

Came in as another amazing talent from Brazil and my word has he delivered. In one of his first starts for the club he scores a UCL hattrick. Can’t wait to see what he brings in the future.

Players like Alphonse Areola, Brahim Díaz, Mariano Díaz and Marco Asensio haven’t featured enough for me to score them so they all get a standard 5/10.
