Struggling to find success in the market?

You're not alone

I struggled to make money my first year

Here's some advice to help you out

" 5 Things I Wish I Knew Then"

- A THREAD -
1.

- You Need A Plan -

A ton goes into this but it's worth it

You need to know:

- Entry
- Stop price
- Target
- Risk reward ratio
- Chart location/pattern
- Earnings date

Does a surgeon operate without an effective plan?

Why don't you take your trading seriously?
2.

- Focus On Potential Losses Vs Wins -

Stop looking at the potential money you can make

Know that you can lose money on any single trade

This will put you in the right frame of mind when trading
3.

- Cut Your Losses -

This goes with the previous tweet

Don't be a bag holder

Don't let you ego get the best of you

Know when you're wrong and move on

It's as simple as that
4.

- Base Hits Over Home Runs -

Daily base hits & doubles will compound over time

You'll strike out more often when you aim for home runs

The occasional home run will do nothing for you when you strike out 4/5 times
5.

- Buy The Breakout -

Trades stocks the market is watching

I'm not telling you to buy the hot stock of the day

But rather find a stock that is setting up for a breakout

These stocks will be watched by professional traders/hedge funds
