We already know that the Religious Right is working hand-in-glove with many GC feminists - not least but not only because a number of other GC feminists have written pieces saying so.
We also know - beyond any doubt - that the lawyers hired by the Religious Right to attack abortion rights by arguing against informed consent or Gillick competence are also being hired to push exactly the same arguments against trans rights.
Those people are pushing transphobic attack lines because trans people are a soft target and they have found some surprising and helpful allies. But if those attack lines succeed they won't stop there. They'll come after gay men and women and they'll come after abortion rights.
