Love this @Refinery29 piece on fighting voter suppression this year --> https://r29.co/2OHvjPN .

It cites our @BrennanCenter report ( https://bit.ly/3fP5Q32 ) that found Black & Latinx voters waited 45-46% longer to vote in 2018.

So what can you do about it now? Well...

Follow the step in the @Refinery29 piece:

1. Get educated: read up on what you need to know, and bring, to vote.

2. Make a plan: this one is crucial b/c of the many changes to election rules due to #COVID19. Check with local election officials to find your polling place!

2/4
3. Be prepared: Bring your own PPE, masks, and hand sanitizer to vote and maintain social distancing!

4. VOTE !!!

5. Get involved in the fight to protect voting rights: Consider volunteering at a voting rights org. TONS of amazing orgs. doing this work in every state.

Or --> consider being a poll worker!

Without poll workers our elections simply can't run and many states have poll worker shortages in 2020. For more info reach out to local election officials.
