List of reasons why Twitter is better at building connections vs. LinkedIn

1) LinkedIn feels like a job fair but virtually - everyone knows why you're there and why you're in their DMs

2) LinkedIn DMs have just become a cesspool of spam and across the board

3) People are starting to care less about your resume but more about how and why you think - Twitter is great at showcasing this

4) LinkedIn resume's are becoming notoriously faked/exaggerated. Ex: Saw someone put "Colombia Business School" when they took a 2 week camp

5) Twitter relationships are more natural - a breakdown

- You follow someone that is like minded
- You engage in their tweets and build a relationship
- You DM them a question/comment
- Before you know it you are working together on a project you BOTH are interested in

6) LinkedIn just screams "What can you do for me / I want a job"

7) Twitter is "Here is my voice / This is what I am passionate about"

8) LinkedIn = I need a job / This is a job I already do

9) Twitter = I want to share my passion with others
I am sure other people like @AdamSinger @mkobach @APompliano have talked about this extensively already but this is just my take...thoughts?
