I’ve heard a narrative floating around FF Twitter that there wasn’t late rd WR value in 2019 Redraft. After crunching the numbers & comparing WR ADP to WR finish, the data tells a different story. There was so much league winning value available.

According to @FFCalculator’s 12 TM PPR data from late August 2019, all of these WRs were available late in drafts or were going undrafted. Only Parker was correctly projected as the WR1 on his own team. This sounds like a case of #WR2Theory
#WR2Thoery Thesis:
The general public WR ADP overvalues the WR1 position, while subsequently undervaluing the WR2 position.
Therefore:
There is inherent value in accurately determining & targeting which current WR2’s have WR1 breakout potential.

There is also value in determining which potential WRs to avoid in earlier rounds. If you drafted Antonio Brown, JuJu or Adam Thielen last year, you wasted your 2nd round pick and set your fantasy team back tremendously. #WR2Theory
