Apparently when Householder ran for speaker this time, he only got a minority of Republican votes but got as many Democrat votes as he got from the Republicans. The combined total gave him the gavel.
Householder tried to destroy then Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell to help Householder defeat him to get the position of State Auditor.

Apparently a 2017 Ohio Inspector General report found corruption & fraud in the Ohio Penal Industry system. Including making furniture for Householder's house office.

Looks like the bribes were about bailouts for 2 Ohio nuclear power plants! From completely different power companies than the ones bribing Madigan in last week's indictment!

I'm betting the FBI's investigations of shell companies & money laundering lead to these dark money groups that pushed the bailout of nuclear plants.

After the bill was passed, an effort was taken to drive a referendum to reverse HB6. First Energy then paid millions more (above the $61M) to fund bribes to keep the referendum from passing.
Householder only personally got about $1M of the $61M+ as it was doled out to others.

DOJ says they have not explored much of the evidence yet because they wanted to keep it secret until they made the arrests. Today FBI started going after all the evidence that will help them unravel this further to all the players!
