The @fordnation government restricted the amount of time for debate on this bill and will NOT be holding public consultations, public committee hearings, nor will it be accepting any public submissions. The government intends to pass Bill 197 this week. #Bill197 #onpoli #onted
It expands the regulatory power of the #MoE ( @sflecce) to override other legislation/regulations (e.g. the Education Act). This opens the door to privatization of distance and on-line learning. #onpoli #onted
