"WHAT IS CLEOPATRA IN SPACE AND WHERE CAN I WATCH IT?"

I hear these questions a lot, so here's a new thread about that. #CleopatraInSpace
Cleopatra in Space is a DreamWorks Animation cartoon based on the comic book series of the same name by Mike Maihack. Yes, it has a TV adaptation. With an incredibly catchy theme song to boot (sung by Lilimar, who also voices Cleo!)
The series follows the adventures of a teenage Cleopatra who gets sent to the future in a planet ruled by talking cats. She's their prophesied savior, and with the help of Akila and Brian, and her teacher Khensu, she fights bad guys while figuring out how to get home to Egypt.
Did I mention the planet is ruled by talking cats? Because it is.

Adorably cute cats.
So by now you probably think this cartoon looks cool. So where can you legally watch it??

The distribution for this show has been a little crazy, so I'll try my best to tackle as much as I can.
I'll start with the one matters the MOST right now. In the United States, originally the series was planned to premiere on Universal Kids.

But plans changed quickly.
Instead, you can legally watch the first 12 episodes in the US on @PeacockTV. You might've heard it before as being free.

They lied, sorta.

Cleo in Space is a Premium show on the app, meaning you get a 7-day free trial before you need to pay.

In case you're wondering about how much it costs to actually pay the Premium deal, it's apparently $4.99 a month.

Unfortunately, for now, this is the only way to support this amazing cartoon in the US. However, it's not the only place that hosts it worldwide.
In Southeast Asia (which was also the first place to premiere the show), it airs on the DreamWorks Channel on TV. In Poland, you can watch it on Teletoon+ in Polish. In South Africa, all 26 episodes are available on Showmax. On Viaplay in Scandinavia, you can watch the show too.
In Brazil, the show has gained a LOT of eyes from my previous tweets and threads (thanks She-Ra fandom)! So I'm separately mentioning it. You can watch it (under the title "Cleópatra no Espaço") on Globoplay.
This underrated show also has amazing lesbian representation with Akila's moms, Theoda and Pothina, who appear in episode 18 (which unfortunately, hasn't officially been released in the US yet).
So even if you don't have Peacock and you can't support the show in any other way, please help spread this show around to those that can!!!! Do it for them 🥺
