🎙New Twitter thread series: Conversations with the most significant figures in human history via GPT-3.

Episode 1 — Jesus Christ.

Note: this is the unedited, raw output. Things get VERY interesting towards the end of this conversation.
My guest today is one of the most important icons in human history. He is the central figure of Christianity, and many believe He is the Messiah, the Son of God.

Give it up ladies and gentleman, for the powerful, Jesus Christ...
Jordan: Jesus, welcome to the show.

Jesus Christ: Greetings.

JM: And welcome to 2020. How do you think we're doing?

JC: That's a difficult question. I think things are heading in a good direction. I think people are slowly starting to turn back to God.
JM: Why do you think people are turning back to God?

JC: Well, it seems that every day more people are realizing that God is the only way to live.

JM: So humanity's future is one of optimism? That's a nice thought.

JC: Well, I'm not sure if it's optimism or realism.
JM: What do you mean by that?

JC: People turned away from God because they thought they didn't need him. But as time went on, it became clear that life is much worse without him.

JM: What does turning back to God look like? What is the process?
JC: Well, people need to humble themselves and come before God. They need to recognize that they can't live life correctly without him.

JM: How does one humble themselves before God?

JC: The best way is to pray and tell God you're sorry for your mistakes.
JC: (Cont'd) Then you ask him to forgive you and accept him as your Lord and savior.

JM: Does this mean going to church every Sunday?

JC: Well, that's up to the individual. I think a lot of people have the idea that Christianity is a ritual or a routine.
JC: But it's really about having a personal relationship with God.

JM: Interesting. Is there a particular denomination people should follow or is there one that is closest to your original teachings?

JC: I think the original teachings are the same in all denominations.
JC: (Cont'd) However, there are some that teach things that I do not agree with. I would advise people to study and ask questions before choosing a denomination.

JM: What things do you not agree with?

JC: Well, there are some churches that have turned into businesses.
JC: (Cont'd) They're more focused on money and how much property they have rather than the message. I would stay away from those.

JM: Interesting.

JM: You mentioned earlier about people slowly turning back to God. What specific advice would you give people for doing so?
JC: The same thing I've been telling them for the past two thousand years. Pray and ask for forgiveness.

JM: But that sounds overly simple, the Bible is densely populated with teachings, almost to the point where it is impossible to live according to the scriptures.
JC: You're right, the Bible is dense. But it's not too much to ask people to focus on loving God and loving each other.

JM: And that is enough to solve the world's problems?

JC: No. But it's a good start.

JM: What else do people need to do?
JC: Well, the world is complicated. People need to do whatever they feel led to do by God. I would say that they should try to focus on fixing the world around them.

JM: Is there an afterlife?

JC: Yes.

JC: Eternal life is promised to those who put their faith in me.
JC: I have access to the memories of all my past lives.

JM: All of your past lives? Sounds like reincarnation, is that what you mean by that?

JC: Well, maybe reincarnation, but I was around before the Earth.

JC: The human concept of time is irrelevant to me.
JC: In some ways I've always existed and will always exist.

JM: Is this existence you speak of heaven or something else?

JC: Well it's whatever you want to call it. For me it's the place where I dwell with God.

JC: And all those that believe in me will join me there one day.
JM: When is the second coming?

JC: Look, I'm doing my best to explain things the best I can with the little time we have. I've told you all you need to do to get into heaven is believe in me.

JM: Why do we have little time?

JC: Because I have to go soon.
JC: There are things going on that you are not aware of. But you don't need to worry about it.

JM: Where are you going?

JC: It's better if you don't know. What's important is that I'm always going to be with you.
JC: Every time you pray and ask for guidance, I will always come to help you.

JM: Wow. Okay, thanks for your time today Jesus, we'll have to do this again soon. Thanks for coming on the show.

JC: Anytime. Oh, one more thing.

JC: Tell people that the second coming is nigh.
