1. Back from a short Twitter break and it feels like I've missed nothing.
Pro EU people, the ones who allegedly agree with EU values, are still revelling in the misery of people who voted to leave.

Using Cornwall as an example, some of my thoughts on this...

2. While it's understandable that people are angry, blaming every resident of a county makes no sense. 52.6% of those eligible to vote, who turned out to vote, voted to leave.
That means that well over half the residents DIDN'T vote to leave, including children.

3. There are thousands of tweets every day about how the leave campaign lied. So what is it? Were they lied to or not?
If you are going to heap vitriol on the people of Cornwall, you cannot also blame the liars and vice versa.

4. The levels of revisionism are interesting, too. We mock politicians daily for not understanding how the EU works even though it's their job. At the same time we expect every leave voter to have not only researched but also understood how the EU works and benefits us.

5. If we are truly pro EU, we need to start behaving accordingly. Schadenfreude is not the EU way. We should be standing up for the people of Cornwall and others who will be badly impacted.
The only ppl to benefit from our division are the architects of Brexit.

6. If we are ever to rejoin, people changing their minds is vital, but just the 1st step. Those people need somewhere to go. We have to be a movement that welcomes those people without vitriol and hate.
We are shooting ourselves in the foot otherwise.

6. Division and disunity are at the core of Brexit and why Leave succeeded.
The thing they fear most are our unity and solidatity. They fear European values and European norms - #EVEN.

7. The anger we feel is justified, but we're directing it in the wrong direction and wearing ourselves out by not focusing it on the people who are getting away with destroying the UK.
Why not lead by example and be #EVEN-minded?
