It is telling how UK has been slashing and burning it’s ‘world class’ higher education sector once more people from the margins began to access and benefit from it.
Beyond the irrationality, lack of logic, stupidity even of the pricing proposal, the motive and impulse is the same: limit higher education to posh sorts again.
Oh and this narrative about jobs is toxic as it emphasises the transformation of higher education into training.
