Fine tune your ELEVATOR PITCH for success!

WHAT?

An elevator pitch is a quick summary of yourself or your business.

It’s named after the amount of time it should take to deliver it—the short duration of an elevator ride (that is under a minute)

💥MEGA THREAD for SUCCESS💥
HOW?

Make sure you work on how to introduce and explain things quickly to someone new with the goal to catch their interest.

You can introduce:

👤Yourself
💼Your business
💡A new idea
🔑A solution to a problem
📽️A project

The list is endless but…
Whatever you are introducing, your elevator pitch should answer the following questions:

💥Who are you?
💥What do you do? or What does IT do?
💥What do you want?
WHEN?

You can use your Elevator Pitch anywhere!

👋 When you introduce yourself
👤In your online profiles
🗒️On your CV
🏀When pitching things to your boss

So how do we do this in real life? How do you present your elevator speech?
STEP 1:

🗣️Introduce yourself
😊Full name
🌎Where you are from
🤝Firm handshake
💋SMILE
STEP 2:

Summarise what you do with a brief background.

If you introduce yourself this could be:

🖼️Background (could be education, work experience, history of project)
💪Any key specialties or strengths
🦸What you do/How you help solve problems
STEP 3:

Explain what you want!

But note - This step depends on what you are using the pitch for.

This could be for:

💼A job opportunity, internship
ℹ️To get contact information
💰To get funding
👯‍♂️To get a partner for a venture
💖A date

You can use the right pitch anywhere!
STEP 4:

Finish with a CALL TO ACTION!

ALWAYS end your elevator pitch by asking for or stating what you want to happen next.

⭐ A follow up phone call
⭐ A meeting

To explore further possibilities like:

⭐ Funding
⭐ Mentoring
⭐ Partnering

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO HAPPEN?
Final few notes....

Make sure you:

⭐ Speak naturally
⭐ Slow things down!
⭐ Make one pitch for most (but not all) occasions
⭐ Make it easy to understand

Now sit down and craft your own masterpiece!
