We are doing a door to door awareness daily in all blocks of Koramangala (Ward 151), creating a WhatsApp group in every cluster, and keeping residents aware of factual news and procedures.
We visit every street, and then request them to add their neighbours into the group, we try to ensure that every landlord and tenant is all included, for effective awareness to work, a minimum of 85% households should be I the group.
After a week, when all are added, we close the group Admins only posting, the reason 1 block we break into 4-5 clusters is because WhatsApp can add only 256 numbers, and majority individuals are not in Telegram or other IM App.
Information we share with the public is Govt. Orders, Notifications, Clarifications.

We have broken our Volunteer Team into:
CALLING TEAM - From Home
This team calls individuals in Home Quarantine and updates all personal data of the person, including address, their health status, HQ procedures, doubts etc. and shares links of Quarantine Watch App.

GROUND TEAM 1 - Outdoor
After our calling team has spoken, this team who will go and stick a HQ sticker outside the Individuals house, they will also speak to neighbours, share their numbers and inform them that if the house breaks HQ, please call and inform us.

GROUND TEAM 2 - Outdoor
This team coordinates for groceries/medicine delivery to the Home Quarantine, Home Isolation, senior citizens or who are not capable of buying online etc.
This team is trained by me to follow contactless, cashless hygienic delivery.

DATA TEAM - Home
This team only manages, segregates the allocated data daily, all the data is one huge confusion, so these guys filter all the mess and give the refind data to the Calling Team to call.
They also upload the same called data at night to our reporting portals.

COMPLAINTS/INVESTIGATION TEAM - Outdoor
Complaints by public of breaches by HQ persons (Info comes from Ground Team 1), we also coordinate with BBMP to inform of house/ street sanitizing/street barricading, BBMP Marshals and coordinating with Fever Clinic doctors.

Go door to door and create WhatsApp geoups, general awareness in shops, supermarkets, restaurants, offices, go for rounds every evening to ensure mask awareness.

Now you might think this is a gigantic task, but it isn't.

We had just started as 2 people, we approached many people to volunteer, but no one joined due to fear, we started anyways, seeing us over a period of time all these guys 1 by 1 joined, if anyone one wants to replicate this in their area, msg me and I will assist you.
Trust me, as people will see you doing it, they will approach you and ask to join you to help, if you just ask them before, you won't get 1 single Volunteer, they need to SEE you doing it.
