I am here in the streets of North Portland, where a crowd of hundreds- probably more than 500- has assembled. I am unsure where they are headed but suspect the results will be spicy.
This is a great crowd. Large, motivated and organized.

A week ago it felt like the movement in Portland was dying. Large actions like this had become rare. Now there are several ongoing right now in the city.

President Trump and the feds revitalized this uprising.
The crowd has arrived at the Portland North Precinct, where a- so far- small squadron of officers is out and waiting to confront them.
The crowd advances on the riot cops.
This is fun. While the crowd chants "quit your job", the riot cops begin to file back inside.
The cops have fled back inside.
They have left an empty, unguarded squad car outside in the middle of the crowd. This may be the baitiest bait I have ever seen.
People have started spraypainting the bait car. Nearby, an open an unguarded motor pool.
Pretty chill vibe so far. I am certain to my bones that tonight ends with horrible police violence.
Someone has wedged a shovel in the gate, jamming it open.
Feds have been spotted nearby in a large gray truck. Appear to be wearing the now familiar combat gear that sort packs. They are waiting for now.
A horrible trash accident involving several innocent flags has occurred at the entrance to the Precinct.
Smoke from a horrific car crash looms over the gathering as dusk settles in. It is rather unsettling.
Oh, the humanity.
A brand new police LRAD guy has shown up, and threatened the crowd with violence for blocking the parking lot.
The crowd actually forms up and starts to march away from the Precinct. The LRAD guy threatens everyone again anyway.
"Every city, every town, burn the precincts to the ground!"

Doesn't sound like a lot of "reform"-minded folks in the crowd.
