At the end of April, I decided to do something I've been dreaming about for years. I made the resolution that I would quit my job soon and go full time on my own business.
Now, I'm no stranger to the side hustle or startup life. I knew this was what I wanted to do since I was in highschool. That lead me to get a bachelor's degree in BM Entrepreneurship & Strategy. In total I've worked on 3 seperate startup ideas, all of which failed...
BUT! I'll never stop trying. It only takes one successful idea out of 10 or even 100 to make your dreams a reality. I'm dead set to make it happen.
So, I've been saving up and slowly researching into a new business. I've finally found the perfect idea that I'm excited to share soon! This will also be my first time stepping into the world of e-commerce and I'm eager to learn and leave my mark.
For awhile now I have realized I've been holding myself back through bad habits and putting too much time and energy into a job I no longer enjoyed. I needed something to change, I need to change.
At the end of July, I'll have quit my job and moved back into my parents house. I need to sacrifice living in my apartment in the city so I can budget and save. I need a new environment to help me reset and build better habits.
I'm still young and I appreciate that I have a safety net like my family to fall back on. I know I can always rely on them for support, just as I will with my kids. There's no shame in living with your family to save, pay off debt, and set yourself up!
I'm still a work in progress, I don't got all the answer Sway lol but I do know a thing or two I'll be sharing through my tweets. If you can relate to my story or liked reading, drop a comment what you think. 👇
