1/ hall & oates — if this isn’t a gold standard for pop music, I don’t know what is
2/ ginger & turmeric — with their forces combined, you’re damn sure to reduce inflammation
3/ hydrogen & oxygen — we wouldn’t be alive without ‘em
4/ algae & cyanobacteria — thanks to their symbiotic relationship, we have beautiful lichens
5/ bob & doug — ambassadors to a new space era (and great astronaut names too!)
6/ nolan & zimmer — wow. I don’t even know what to say here except thank you
7/ sharks & remoras — little guys get to eat leftovers, big guy stays parasite free. a true friendship
8/ capi & chacruna — brewed together to make ayahuasca and offer deep healing
9/ eruptions & lightning — easily the most awe-inspiring combination of natural phenomena on our planet
10/ sun & moon — for letting us be absolutely humbled by the spectacle of a total solar eclipse
11/ chicago & detroit — for giving us house & techno. their pioneers changed the music landscape forever
12/ mœbius & jodorowsky — for creating us ‘The Incal’ graphic novel series, and a fantastical vision for a ‘Dune’ feature film that never was
13/ indian & eurasian plates — their slow motion collision has given us the magnificent himalayas
14/ dark rum & ginger beer — I don’t drink much anymore, but dark & stormys at the beach is so fucking blessed
15/ romeo & juliet — as played by young leo and clare danes. damn this movie is so good
16/ alyssa & james — tragic couples don’t get cuter and more endearing than these two 
17/ rusty & hart — god I love these two. what an incredible detective partnership
18/ hachikō & prof. ueno — the story of your friendship, and in particular of hachikōs loyalty, has brought beautiful tears to so many
19/ luciferin & oxygen — your chemical reaction brings majestic light to where there is none, and inspires awe in all who behold its beauty
20/ deleuze & guattari — for having inspired this fun thread :)
