We asked our team members to share some of their old gaming artifacts.
There were so many photos, that we decided to make a thread.

A fun fact: did you know that in Russia in our childhood we've never heard of such thing as NES? The console was widely known as Dendy, which was an unofficial clone, and been massively delivered to Russia by pirates, while it was nearly impossible to get the official console.
Our narrative designer @Paperhermit and UI designer Lindet found some gaming magazines, guides and even encyclopedias from 90s-00s. We had a lot of gaming press back then. Before the internet became widespread, books were the main source to get some info about your favorite games
Our level designer @PuLSaR_noise also shared a guide, an uncommon one... A cool signed guide to Quake!
And there were the stickers! Most of the Russian kids of the '90s had at least one collectible sticker album at home or wished to collect one. Our narrative designers have found some Mortal Kombat and other stickers left at home:
Besides that, a narrative designer Nika Alborti has found a couple of discs with some of her fav childhood games. She told us something about them:
Here are Rune (2000) and Dark Reign (1997). Notably, the Rune disc was found in the box of a third game - Flying heroes (2000).

Me and my brother used to mismatch and lose the boxes constantly :) the Dark Reign is one of the favorite games of my childhood, it's a super atmospheric strategy. The voiceover stucked in my head, so that I still sometimes hear "New units available... Low power!" )))

And Flying Heroes is a game by a Czech studio, which was really unusual for its time (compared to the other games we had). It had fair 3d air battles, lots of types of ships and aircraft, and you could even ride a flying teapot!
