Time to address the elephant in the room, health concerns.
Listen, I get it, the concussion concern is real. However, this is very much baked into his price point. The juice is absolutely worth the squeeze when it comes to taking Cooks (at WR4 prices???).

As a matter of fact, Cooks has actually been extremely durable.
In the past five seasons, Cooks has only missed two (2!!) games, both instances occurring in 2019.
This means he went all of '15, '16, '17, and '18 without missing a game. But yeah, injury prone.

What should we be expecting for 2020?
Well, obviously we know Hopkins is out, making targets readily available in this offense. In fact, Houston has the 5th most vacated targets in the league, at 167.
We know opportunity is there.

Below is my current Brandin Cooks projection. This puts him as my projected WR26 (well ahead of ADP).
I believe this projection to be conservative, as it's reasonable Cooks is walking into the most heavily targeted situation of his career. The ceiling is there.

The meshing of price/talent/opp./QB play makes Cooks one of the easiest targets in drafts. If he ends up going down with a concussion, you burned a 7th round pick, you'll live.
However, if Cooks proves to again be a top-end option, you just collected some serious value.
