Mensuration ..according to Ayurveda "is a opportunity to clear doshas/Dosh/dosham or unwanted energy" stored.. and only females species of mammals are blessed with this unique "monthly cleansing".
this "monthly cleansing" is related to "Female Longetivity "

Doshas/dosh/Dosham are bio energies that constitutes every human .. Three doshas are Vata, Pitta and Kapha (Air fire and water)

"Apana vayu" ,one of elemental functions of Vata is responsible for downward flow of Mensuration

any "activity" that interferes with this "necessary" flow of energy during mensuration should be avoided..

Now the most important reason for this thread

A temple is a place full of energy .. And according to Ayurveda , which is More than 7000 year old .. A woman on mensuration absorb other energies around then. Which may affect "Vata " flow

The energy during mensuration flows downwards .. And energy during in temple, or a puja flows upwards (Ground Up)

this causes extreme pain and discomfort to the woman . this is one of the reason our rishi munis wanted women to be sent to "seclusion huts" ..

In Seclusion Huts they canr hear the hymns or the bells ringing in a temple or at hyms n bells ar home.
It goes on. But ppl who are fighting cases today , those who are pro n anti are fighting without knowing facts..

A woman on Mensuration is a living goddess.
We dont touch what is pure

if there is a idol in the temple .. It is believed that a energy in a woman on mensuration absorbs the energy in idol ..leaving the idol without life ..... Those " for and against " are fighting without knowing about ayurveda and purely on "allopathy" findings n pure ignorance

There is a temple in Devipuram, Where, Women in Mensuration can enter the Temple if they want to
and gather in "Kamakhya peetam" ..which is normal formation in the form of Yoni. .

But as Time went on.. knowledge was not passed on accurately...one thing led to another.. people just knew what has to be done.. but didn't know the reason..
