One thing the current Chelsea squad lacks is gamesmanship or the desire to win at all costs. It has nothing to do with the ages of players and more to do with their inherent personalities.

In simple terms, we have too many "nice" players.
Alonso got karate kicked against Spurs and guess how many players protested? One. Abraham.

Fernandinho swatted the ball away and guess how many players protested? One. Abraham.

Maguire performed a WWE finishing move on Batshuayi and guess how many players protested? Zero.
Compare Chelsea to United. They will dive, handle the ball, shout, beat up players and do whatever is required to win. There's nothing wrong with it, as morally wrong as it sounds.

At the elite level of football, you won't win if ignore the dark arts. That's how it works.
United, Barca, Madrid and literally every top team in history have resorted to dark arts in one way or the other. Dives, tactical fouls, surrounding the ref, you name it.

Unless we learn to cheat, we will not become a serious team. It might be unpopular but it is the truth.
