It's just my opinion of course, but the toughest position to hold on the right in the Trump era is the "he's not the devil and he's not the Chosen One" position.
Think Lincoln project/Bulwark types versus
Federalist/Breitbart types.

I count myself as one of these type of people. And I'll be honest here, I think Trump's a net negative to conservatism, so if he loses I won't shed a tear. However, I'm not gonna act like I want a President Biden and a Dem Congress just bc that would mean Trump's gone.
That combination would also be a net negative for conservatism and I struggle with this. Unfortunately, those are the choices we have right now, so if Trump's gonna lose, I just hope he does well enough for R's to keep the Senate. That's where I am.
