My son took his own life 6 weeks ago. Since then I have heard of 3 others who have done the same locally. I am sick of seeing all the slogans about mental health, facebook messages etc. It means nothing! Where is the medical care? Who is doing anything to help? He had a letter
The mental health team said he had missed an appointment, if he wamted another he had to ring them within 14 days or they would close his file! He wasnt in a fit state to go, nor to ring, he was left! And so it seems are many others! I am angry, he kept telling me he was ok,
He may have told someone else who was not close to him he wasnt ok! His mates said he was alpha male and could not be seen to be struggling. F#*k this government. He wouldnt let me help him but maybe, just maybe the NHS could have saved him! If they had funding and infastructure
That has been cut in the last 10 years! Lockdown, covid 19, lack of job because of mental pressure, finances, relationship breakdown all at the same time. He just gave up! So many more are just giving up! Where is the duty of care? Boris you have my sons death on you hands
