When your heart dies a part of your soul does as well. When we let this happen we lose sight of the splendor. We lose sight of all the beauty that surrounds us as we feel defeated, desolate and isolated. We fool ourselves into believing God abandoned us

We then believe we are unlovable and unworthy of love, and then in turn we reject love by deflecting on others around us they too are unlovable and unworthy as well. We poison ourselves and those around us by being blind and turning away.

And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. The one who has the Son has this eternal life; the one who does not have the Son of God does not have this eternal life.
