and yes as we have said time and time again, the real mistake was letting Valverde set foot inside the Camp Nou again after Anfield. that should have been it for him.
Anfield in the second-half was LITERALLY a carbon copy of Rome a year before. and Valverde made all the same mistakes. a competent board would have realised he wasn’t going to change and either sacked him then or done it as soon as summer began.
but no these goofballs brought him back for another season! that is why Barça are in this mess.
