Bike Lanes aren't about those of us who ride at the moment.
They're not really even about bikes.
They are about as wide a range of transport options for a wide a range of folks as possible.
They are also for those who choose to keep driving.

I don't want them to be there to force you onto a bike.
I want them so children can safely move around our city.
I want them so people in mobility scooters can use them.
I want them so more people choose not to drive, so there is more space for those who still need to.

Not every cargo needs to go by lorry, but some do.
