Why Russia is a world of its own!

Russia covers 17 MILLION sq kilometres almost the same as Pluto!!!

That's why Russia has the most diverse administrative divisions containing
3 federal cities
46 Provinces
9 Territories
4 Autonomous Districts
And the 22 Republics

The reason for this diversity is because modern day Russia is the same as the 15th century Russian empire stretching across Eurasia.

Thus the inclusion of different ethnic minorities and religious groups within the nation.

These territories were mostly conquered by nomadic allies, mercenaries hired by the empire and the other warrior races within the nation. Like,The Cossacks

İslam was introduced to the people of modern day Russia, as soon as the 7th century.

And by the end of the 8th century people of Dagestan.

So Muslims were in Russia before there was the russo-Slavic empire.

The people of Dagestan has been frontiers for Islam, like Imam Shamil.

Religion has been a really influential factor in Russias history.

Ditching the paganistic practices of the Catholics (Raskol) of the west, the Russian proto-orthodox church and the patriarchs made it possible.

Thus, Russia Became the protector of all orthodox Christians.

Another pivotal point in the history of Russia would be the October revolution, where the famous coup d'état removed the tsars and stablished the Communist rule in Russia.

Thus, began the period which has shaped the image of Russia that we see today

Unfortunately, during this period, Russian influence and the allied forces has committed vast levels of atrocities which haunts the world till this day.

Nevertheless, Russia is still a prospering nation with massive infrastructure and developments, like the trans Siberian rainways connecting the East to the west across the vast Siberian plains

The country has one of the most fascinating natural sceneries that look out of the world!

Be it the Volga River Delta, one of the largest in the world.

Or the scenic Baikal Lake, THE largest lake in the world.

The serenity if the Caucasus mountains!

The country holds a great contraction collections of old traditional structures and modern architecture.

Unlike the west the structures in Russia are colourful and lively as it's people.

Even the modern architecture reflects the modernity and the ambitious nature of the people.

But besides the rich history, the beautiful nature or the breathtaking architecture of both past and present, what makes Russia diverse and interesting are it's diverse and interesting peoples.

Russia is the Russians themselves!

And Russians are from all the diverse areas.

This is why Russia is a world of its own!!
