It's been 14 years since Ryan was first taken to hospital. All his doctors, nurses, NHS managers and even a tribunal judge say he should not be languishing in detention. But despite the promises from the NHS to get him out, he is still there. And he is not alone.
Since 2015 numbers of people with #autism detained in hospital has more than doubled to over 600.

Ryan has been isolated in long term segregation for years. He has been so heavily medicated he had to have 14 teeth removed...he's suffered bruises, broken bones and maybe worse...
