Reading this, the 0.5 of fighting a 2.5 war, becomes reinforced.

PRC is in a conundrum with respect to LAC stand offs. It risks being seen as weak, if it backs down. That shall weaken its aims & plans for SCS & Taiwan. India was chosen as a "lesson" for those weaker nations.
If it does not back out, it risks a military confrontation with an India prepared to resort to use of arms to clear the occupation, increasingly backed by a vocal & prominent military confederation of "friends" willing to hold PRC accountable for its aggressive actions.
If it remains engaged for longer time period in talks, it risks facing rivals who will be militarily prepared, with necessary alliances & diplomatic tools stitched, which will have begun to exact costs.

If it strengthens hold in grey area by infra construction, it risks..
a military response by India wherein it shall clearly be seen as an aggressor.

So, the best way out for it is to have India resort to miliyary means immediately, so it can claim "self defence". Hence, a sustained campaign in Indian Media, clamouring for war.
India must first get it's proverbial ducks in line & exhaust all diplomatic options in a demonstrated manner. Meanwhile, India must continue to strengthen its military preparedness, ready to go to war on 2 fronts at a moments notice.
At no time should we be in a hurry to resort to military means to clear the areas & let PRC have a reprieve.
Either PRC should be made to withdraw from the areas through discussions, else, we must continue to engage in the farce (apparently) of diplomacy as long as status quo of territory is not being changed by PRC.

If it is, then military means must be used without hesitation.
All this as we must work hard to move fabrication, construction & manufacturing out of PRC either alone or in partnership.

Strategic tie ups for tech with countries like US, UK, Israel etc, must get GoI push. This is the biggest weapon we have in our arsenal.
