Yorkshire cathedrals as Mean Girls characters, a thread.
Regina George: York Minster. Rich, attractive, she's the Queen Bee of the clique who has it all and gets all the attention, but we all know she's overrated and a bully.

Cady Heron: Bradford Cathedral. As the newest member, she has to navigate the social complexities of the clique and tries to fit in with the core group.
Gretchen Wieners: Ripon Cathedral. Like Gretchen's hair, it is full of secrets. She sometimes acts as Regina's second-in-command, but because she is insecure this redeems her somewhat and stops her from going full Regina.
Janis Ian: Beverley Minster*. Despite not being a member of the clique and having a feud with Regina, she nevertheless provides a firm moral centre to the film - and is a much better person than Regina. (yes I know it isn't a cathedral so don't @ me)
Damian: Sheffield Cathedral. Let's be honest, we all tend to forget that he exists, and we really don't appreciate him as much as we should.
Karen Smith: Wakefield Cathedral. hot but dumb, she's often overlooked, bullied, and manipulated by the rest of the clique. Nevertheless, she is her own woman with her own value and should not be overlooked.
