Yesterday I was looking for any small IT firm to redo the networking in my office. There were several some months ago.
On detailed enquiries I found that the young entrepreneurs who were running these had relocated to their native villages to take up farming

They had some ancestral land belonging to them and they took to growing vegetables, paddy, fruits etc. They were lucky.
I was also told that these youngsters were unmarried and not bound to family with school going kids. Such of those who were not so lucky are still stuck.

The ones who left the cities & towns have said that they will see how things evolve over next 2 yrs. They are happy with revenues from agriculture. This is a very good sign.
It is time to rethink of productivity and make necessary changes in these sectors.

Basic Engineering education and course content needs to be relooked and revamped.
Chemical industry should be strengthened keeping in mind India's strengths.
May be #Corona will help redesign for a better world.
