We need to talk about something in order to diffuse a future problem. Global adversaries of democracy have shown themselves to be forward-looking, well resourced, and organized both overtly and behind the scenes.
Two of the most effective countermeasures at this point are:
1. Recognizing and speaking openly about the current transnational threat to liberty and freedom worldwide.
2. Accurately forecasting problematic events likely to be encountered as a result of the threat actors.

These two points are important because humanity needs to weaken the fog of doubt and confusion permeating all levels of public and private discourse currently. Calling out the weaponization of confusion helps people remember how to focus on the importance of truth.
And those who see it, and can demonstrate an accurate understanding of the ways things are moving ("forecasting"), will be able to show others how to reach a solid conclusion corroborated with reason, logic, and evidence over gut feeling.
Understanding how to be a reasonable person is the cure, but it does not turn the ship around until a sufficient amount of people get it. No one single individual's realization can immediately fix it all.
